Vintage WATERMAN’S ORIENTAL Sterling Silver Overlay Fountain Pen & Box

This is a vintage and very desirable Waterman’s 12 1/2 PSF Sterling Silver Overlay ORIENTAL Fountain Pen that is in good condition. The pen is approx 5.25 in length and is a sterling silver over smooth Black Hard Rubber. The pen has a Waterman’s’ IDEAL 14K gold flexible nib that is in good intact condition with both iridiums intact. The pen is a self filler with the fill lever intact and with no damage. No cracks on the barrel or cap, section or feed. The Waterman’s box may not be original to the pen but did come with the pen when found. The box is in very good intact condition. Some would say the Gold filled ORIENTAL is less numerous than the Sterling Silver, but the Sterling Silver example is far more attractive and very seldom becomes available as they are very prized by Waterman’s collectors as well as any collector of vintage pens that was fortunate to ever add one to their collection.
