WATERMANS #452 STERLING SILVER FILIGREE SET FOUNTAIN PEN AND PENCIL, VINTAGE 1924. Excellent Waterman 452 lever filler pen black hard rubber with sterling silver overlay Art Deco style from 1924. The appropriate clip is marked Sterling at the top, has 2 screws and Watermans with the logo Ideal. The same logo appears in the lever. In fact it is also marked sterling at the edge of the cap and the body. The imprint in the BHR at the bottom is crisp and reads Watermans, Reg. Off Made in U. And at the base 452. Nib is a soft Watermans # 2 fine point. The indicia has 3 initials in gothic calligraphy. Condition is excellent, no cracks, or damages noted. It has not been tested or used in 20 years. The pencil has similar cosmetic condition and the same 3 initials in the indicia however misses a piece of the inner mechanism and the only way to feed the lead is from the front.
