This rare and elegant Waterman 414 Sterling Silver Filigree EYEDROPPER fountain pen is in wonderfully preserved condition with black hard rubber that was gleaming and wet gloss fresh when we acquired it we have not touched the pen. The pen is 5 5/8 capped and rather slender. The nib is a FLEXIBLE 14K Gold Waterman IDEAL MEDIUM with lots of iridium a beautiful nib. The silver filigree has not been polished some collectors prefer the patina the pen is signed on the barrel WATERMANS IDEAL FOUNTAIN PEN and STERLING SILVER — the familiar dated Sept 26, 05 Sterling Waterman IDEAL ClipCap is handsome. A rare and quite early Waterman Eyedropper with gorgeous silver filigree the initials maybe T and F can be found on the cartouche small, fancy Old English and hard to interpret accurately.
