Beautiful, brand new in box with all papers and never used, this Montegrappa Cosmopolitan Arabian fountain pen has a solid sterling silver body and cap with an engraved 18K gold nib. It has been dipped in ink to test the nib quality and writing (which are perfect) but it has never been filled with ink. It is a piston-filler pen with no separate sac or converter, and does not use cartridges. The nib size is medium. This pen is one of a set of 11 limited edition pens by Montegrappa, one of the world’s finest pen makers. The pen is 136 mm (5 3/8) long closed, and weighs 48 grams. It feels very substantial and well-balanced in the hand, and the silver work is magnificent. The Arabian series was first released in 1997, and these are quite rare. This is one of the few new-in-the-box Montegrappa Arabian fountain pens available. Thanks for taking a look, and please check out my other auctions.
