The pen has never been used and is presented in virtually as new condition. Only 100 were produced and this is number 019. The Churchill pens were always the flagship offerings from Conway Stewart and this version is finished in Excalibur resin – this has wonderful grey and black shimmering tones, with red swirls running throughout. The trim is crafted from sterling silver. The pen is fitted with an 18k fine nib and it’s a lever filler (we’ve tested this with water) and as such bottled ink is your choice here. It comes with its large green leather presentation box (including outer), unstamped paperwork, book of Churchill quotes, black ink bottle and cigar. The pen has only been lightly used and is presented in fantastic condition. Only 500 were produced and this is number 008. The Churchill pens were always the flagship offerings from Conway Stewart and this is the glorious’woodgrain’ ebonite version. Ebonite is a hard rubber and has an extremely tactile finish – this Red Ripple version is absolutely glorious and the different tones and swirls in the ebonite have to be seen to be appreciated. The pen is fitted with an 18k medium nib and is a lever filler – these Conway Stewart levers are quite slow fillers, so when filling the pen it’s important to have a little bit of patience.
