For your consideration, we are privileged to offer for sale this extraordinary First Year 1967 Parker 75 Sterling Silver “Keepsake” Fountain Pen, presented in impeccable Mint, New Old Stock condition and never inked. This is a truly exceptional survivor-preserved exactly as issued and accompanied by its original Parker presentation box, original price hang tag, nib removal key, and literature. Complete, untouched examples of this caliber are exceedingly scarce. The Parker 75 Keepsake is among the most unique and short-lived offerings in Parker’s history, produced for only a brief two-year period from 1967 to 1968. Conceived as a deeply personal writing instrument, its smooth, unengraved sterling silver surface was intentionally left blank-designed to be customized with a lifetime of meaningful engravings. As Parker’s own marketing eloquently stated, This pen doesn’t mean anything to anybody. Except you. As a result, finding an example that remains completely unengraved, as seen here, is exceptionally rare and highly desirable to collectors. Condition is nothing short of remarkable. The solid sterling silver cap and barrel retain a flawless, mirror-like finish with no dings, dents, scratches, or repairs. The tassies are flat, as one would except from this era. The slip cap fits securely and precisely, as intended. The cap lip is crisply stamped PARKER STERLING SILVER MADE IN U. Alongside the Parker logo. There are no monograms, engravings, or personalizations-an increasingly uncommon and important attribute for this model. The pen measures approximately 5 1/8 inches capped and 5 5/8 inches posted, with a balanced weight of 0.97 ounces-offering both elegance and substance in hand. Fitted with its original Parker converter, the filling system has been tested with water and operates flawlessly. The pen is equipped with a 14K #63 nib, designated as an Extra Fine point. The nib is crisply stamped “PARKER 14K USA, ” with the feed marked “63, ” confirming its configuration. The tipping measures approximately 0.35mm using digital calipers, delivering a precise and refined writing line. In keeping with its preserved status, the nib has never been inked. The Parker 75 Keepsake stands apart not only for its rarity but for its concept-an unmarked canvas intended to chronicle a lifetime. To find a First Year example in completely untouched, never-engraved, never-inked condition, complete with all original accessories, is exceptionally difficult. I tested it with Pilot Blue-Black ink, and it writes smoothly, with no skips or line variations. You may want to tune up the nib to your liking, as is usually done with these high-end nibs. I flushed with distilled water, I recommend you to flush the nib again before using it. No cartridges or converters are included. There is a Japanese inscription on the back of the nib. Offered is a Parker 51 Blue Cedar fountain pen with a scarce 1-line 1942 imprint. In 1941, the first year of normal production, the 51 had the imprint placed on the end of the barrel blind cap. In 1942 the imprint was moved up the barrel to the clutch ring. Perhaps, It is thought, because the imprint would survive longer in that position. Maybe it was just easier to imprint there. Anyway, when first moved to the clutch ring in 1942 the imprint was presented on one line. Later that year the imprint was presented in 2 lines. An esoteric difference in early production 51s. This imprint is very crisp and indicates first quarter with 3 dots. The barrel is clean and so is the Sterling cap. Not often seen for sale and sometimes overlooked.
