I bought this pen ca. 5 years ago, I restored it with new sac. It worked well but it may need a cleaning since I used it very seldom because it’s too small for me. Normal signs of use, beautiful for the age. It should be around 4″1/3 capped and shy of 5″ posted. You’ll be delighted.

All items we believe to be 100% original in as found condition from local estates and collections. All of our items are vintage/antique, gently used and will have age appropriate wear unless otherwise stated as new. We describe all items to the best of our ability. Up for your consideration we have these antique Sheaffer sterling silver fountain pen and Deco style enameled sterling silver mechanical pencil. Pen is #2 self filling-untested so do not know if it works, has ring ring at top. Enameled sterling pencil with blue, green, and light blue coloring with ring at top. Both marked Sheaffer Sterling, pencil marked Pat. Both have oxidation and will need a good cleaning to shine up, the enamel does have some light damage as seen in photos. May need cleaned polished as desired. Please review photos for condition. With all jewelry with stones, stones sizes and amounts are figured by calculation. (for an accurate total, you would have to remove the stones from the settings) During measurements there is some degree of calculation, so it is an approximation. In regards to our time pieces watches, clocks etc. We verify the condition when they leave our office and will be stated as working or not working. All working watches may still need to be professionally cleaned/serviced in order to keep time accurately. Each of our time pieces are vintage and used to a different degree. Please see all the photos and read entire description. If I’m unaware, I cannot help & resolve the issue. Please see our feedbacks. Your satisfaction is the only way to our success and I will do my best to keep it that way. After that it will go by weight. Please request a total or wait for a combined invoice before paying. Here’s a beautiful SHEAFFER STERLING SILVER lady’s ring pen from about 1922. The pen is 3-7/8 long and has an engine turned draped pattern all in flawless condition. No dents or flaws of any kind. The monogram box on the barrel has a very light three letter script monogram. The lever filler, while it doesn’t have full throw, still takes up a good quantity of ink and the sac may become more resilient with use. Impressed STERLING on the beveled cap ring and SHEAFFER’S STERLING at the top of the barrel. The nib is a SHEAFFER, 2, SELF-FILLING. It’s a straight fine point with good iridium and is very flexible. For your consideration is this restored Sheaffer self filling ringtop pen with a gorgeous sterling silver overlay. These are pretty early pens, probably 1920’s by my estimate as ringtops were very popular during this period. This pen has been fully restored – the old sac cleared and a new one fitted. The nib has been aligned and tested to be working well. The condition is excellent – the overlay is in great condition with no monograms or dents. The word “sterling” is slightly worn but visible on the cap. The nib is a flexible fine 14k Sheaffer #2 nib, the correct nib for the time (sample attached). There is some wear on the lever.
