This pen has never been inked and is in pristine, mint condition-classified as New Old Stock-with all original packaging, ink bottle, certificate of authenticity, and product literature included. A true tribute to the legacy and mystique of ancient Egypt, the Stars of Egypt fountain pen is one of Sheaffer’s most ambitious and artfully executed limited editions. Released in 2006 and limited to just 360 pieces worldwide, this is number 38 of 360. It represents a celebration of Egypt’s immense contributions to culture, astronomy, architecture, and the written word. Crafted in solid sterling silver, the cap and barrel are adorned with finely detailed engravings inspired by iconic Egyptian motifs-celestial constellations, hieroglyphs, and architectural elements reminiscent of the great temples and pyramids. The fountain pen has a palladium plated 18 karat gold nib and palladium plated clip. Each fountain pen will be packaged with a glass inkwell. This sterling silver medallion will be hallmarked at the Assay Office of London. The glass inkwells are made entirely by hand in the USA.
