Vintage Sheaffer Triumph Imperial Sterling Silver Fountain Pen, GT, Box, “MINT”. Superb pen which looks to have been used very little. Instruction leaflet dated 1974. All had been collected by the one person over many years. I will be listing them all over the next few months as I research, identify and catalog them. This is to avoid any damage through inexperience. I will give as detailed a description as possible based on a close physical inspection. Stamped around the cap band “Sheaffer USA Sterling Silver” with the Crown symbol and the 0.925 silver hallmarks. White spot on the clip. All Gold trim is in perfect condition with no tarnish. Clip is a nice firm fit and properly aligned. The inlaid nib is 14K gold and looks to be in perfect condition. The pen uses cartridges (not supplied) or a filler. An press bar filler unit is included. Tested writes perfectly (see photo of sample). Supplied in its original Sheaffer presentation box which is in excellent condition and comes with instruction leaflet. This is a particularly fine example in near mint condition of a very collectable and usable pen. Please note that the Waterman display stand is not included.
