For Sale: Pilot vintage Custom Sterling Crosshatch fountain pen from Japan, in excellent condition. Color: Silver with black crosshatch. Condition Details: The pen has minor micro-scratching that doesn’t impact the pen’s appearance without magnification. Production Years: This pen was produced in June 1971 at the Hiratsuka-shi, Japan factory with a date code of H671 on the nib. This pen being clad in Sterling silver puts it at the top of the food chain among similar Pilot Custom models produced during the period. Special Features: Relatively light and perfectly balanced; luxurious look and feel, exceptionally smooth and wet writing nib. The nib has been tuned for generous ink flow and and smoothed. Needing only a light touch. For a buttery smooth wet line. Filling System: Pilot cartridge or converter filled and includes converter. Nib: Fine firm 18K white gold.
