For your consideration, we are offering for sale this Circa 2005 Ancora Benvenuto Cellini Limited Edition 6 of 33 Fountain Pen with Sterling Silver Vermeil Filigree Overlay fitted with an 18K Medium Nib. This fountain pen comes in the original box and limited edition papers. The fountain pen has never been inked and I consider it in Mint condition. This fountain pen cap and barrel are in magnificent condition with no repairs with the cap always securing tightly to the barrel. The overlay is made from sterling silver with gold vermeil. Under the overlay is a blue pearl acrylic body. The cap lip is stamped with Italia and Ancora. The end of the barrel is incised with, “Cellini 6/33″. This Ancora measures 5 3/4 in length capped. The pen uses an Ink Converter and works as designed with my tests in water. This Ancora comes with the 18K/750 1919 Medium Nib. Measuring the point (iridium) of this Nib, it has a broad point measuring roughly. 78mm when measured with digital calipers. These Ancora 18K nibs are known to be smooth writers with a bit of flex. I did not ink the pen as I wanted to keep it in uninked condition for the next collector. This is a scarce limited edition Ancora with only 33 of them being made. This example is a real piece of craftsmanship that is luxurious and desirable. The original box and papers come with the fountain pen – all are in magnificent condition.
