For your consideration I have this gorgeous Dunhill Gemline Dress Ballpoint (Rollerball) Pen and Fountain Pen. Sterling Silver Vermeil (gold plated) in a Barleycorn design. These are the early model of the Dunhill Dress and were made in Germany (by Montblanc) in the early to mid 1980s. They feature a gold plated clip with a Barleycorn finish and the fountain pen is fitted with a Montblanc’wing nib’. Later versions had a lacquered clip and a Dunhill proprietary nib design. The caps and barrels are hall marked’925′ for sterling silver. The clips are gold plated brass and are marked’METAL. The pens are in absolutely excellent condition. The barrel end tassies show some light signs of wear. For the rest the pens show just marginal signs of use that are visible under magnification only. The Dunhill ballpoint refill still writes, but I can’t tell how long it will last. I have not polished the pens so some patina is showing. A box of dried out Dunhill cartridges (8 remaining).
