Montegrappa Espressione Fountain Pen in red with 18k gold Medium nib. Includes original threaded converter. This is one of the earlier Espressione models with 18kt gold nib, not a later model with steel. The Espressione is a full-sized fountain pen, comparable in size to a MB149 when posted. The cap screw-posts onto the threaded body of the pen, but can also be used comfortably unposted. The resin body has a beautiful movement of color and sheen. The sterling silver trim is tarnished but a good polish would restore the original shine! This pen has never been polished. This pen comes from a large personal collection in a smoke-free home.
