Vintage Parker 75 Sterling Silver Cicele Fountain Pen, GT, Box, XF Nib “Nr Mint”. This is a Parker 75 Sterling Silver Cicele fountain pen with dish top tassies. This later design was made from 1969 onwards. Unusual extra fine 14K gold nib. All had been collected by the one person over many years. I will be listing them all over the next few months as I research, identify and catalog them. This is to avoid any damage through inexperience. I will give as detailed a description as possible based on a close physical inspection. Near mint cosmetic condition. The nib section is excellent with no scratches or marks. Stamped “Parker Sterling Cap & barrel USA”. The Cicele was introduced in 1964 and the early models all had flat top tassies. In 1969 the flat top was replaced with a dish top. This is a dish top with no date mark so pre 1979. All Gold trim is in perfect condition with no tarnish. Clip is a nice firm fit and properly aligned. The nib is an XF (extra fine) 14K gold and looks to be in excellent condition. The pen is fitted with a press bar ink filler which is working perfectly. Tested and writing nicely (see photo of my terrible writing example). The nib section has been flushed out and the pen given a light hand polish. Supplied in its original Parker presentation box which is in good condition, although it has some marks on the outside. This is a particularly fine example in near mint condition of a very collectable and usable pen. Please note that the Waterman display stand is not included.
