The pen has been carefully used and is presented in very good condition – there are some small marks at the base of the pencil and these are shown in the photos. Graf von Faber-Castell are renowned for the quality and finish of their writing instruments and the sterling silver version of the Classic is a wonderful representation of that. The little details, such as the spring clip, really set this above many other brands. Both the barrel and cap are crafted from sterling silver, with the barrel then having a finely engraved pinstripe design.
