It needs a replacement spring as the original has been warped, but is included in this listing. With a new spring the pen will be in excellent working order. I can provide more pictures on request. I wrote the company to confirm origin and material of this pen, it is not silver plated, it is sterling silver. Curtis forges the polished barrel by hand from one piece of solid Sterling Silver, topped with an accented logo and star motif twist cap and motif at the grip. Curtis replied to images of this pen to say. This is one of our early pens in the Heritage collection called’Western Star’ released circa 2006. A Parker refill should work once the spring is replaced. From condition description: Gently used. As is – pen needs a new spring, one may come along with an ink refill?
