1996 Colibri Mickey Mouse Limited Ed Sterling Silver Fountain Pen Never Inked

For your consideration, we are pleased to offer for sale this new-in-box, never-inked 1996 Colibri Mickey Mouse Sterling Silver Limited Edition 525 of 1928 fountain pen fitted with an 18K Medium nib. This example has never been inked, comes in the original box with all the documentation, and I consider it in mint condition. The barrel and cap are crafted from sterling silver, displaying the fine Barley pattern to perfection. Both cap and barrel are free from any dings, dents, or repairs, and the cap secures firmly to the barrel with a precise friction fit. There are no personalizations or monograms to distract from its clean, refined appearance. The cap banding displays unique Mickey scenes/positions. The cap clip is engraved with 1928, which is a reference to Mickey’s first cinema appearance. The fountain pen measures 6″ inches capped and 6 5/8″ inches posted, the pen has a comfortable balance whether in the hand or on display, and weighs 1.80 ounces. The top of the cap displays the iconic Mickey Mouse “ears, ” and the bottom of the barrel is stamped with the Limited Edition number 0525/1928. Fitted with an 18K solid gold medium nib, this pen offers a writing point that measures approximately. 84mm at the tip when checked with digital calipers. The fountain pen comes with an ink converter that remains unused and is ready for filling with your favorite ink.
