For your consideration, we are pleased to offer for sale this circa 1997 Waterman Gentleman Sterling Silver Rollerball Pen, beautifully executed in the classic fluted pattern, accompanied by its original Waterman box and literature. This elegant writing instrument has been carefully cleaned and polished, and a new blue rollerball refill has been installed, making it immediately ready for use. The sterling silver cap and barrel are in superb condition, showing no dings, dents, or repairs. The cap secures firmly to the barrel via a friction fit, just as it was designed to. Accenting the silver body is the striking 23K gold electroplated clip and cap band, both of which display no wear and retain a rich, bright finish. The cap band is stamped “WATERMAN MADE IN FRANCE” and bears the appropriate French hallmark, confirming its quality and origin. There are no monograms or personalizations present anywhere on the pen. This Waterman Gentleman is fully hallmarked on the cap, section, and barrel with French sterling silver marks. While the Gentleman model was officially produced from 1974 through 1997, this example is consistent with a later mid- to late-1990s production. The pen measures 5 5/8 inches capped and 6 1/4 inches posted, offering a balanced, comfortable feel in hand. The newly installed blue ink refill has been tested and writes exactly as expected-smooth, consistent, and effortless. Beautiful Sterling Silver Navajo Ballpoint Pen with intricate stampwork and sleeping beauty turquoise accents. Pen actually works and is similar to a Cross pen in function, in that you twist the end and the pen extends out. Is a bluish black, but if ink color is important to you, please let me know and I will photograph so you can make your own color determination. The stamp work is both fine and subtle, owing to the fact artisan couldn’t apply full force to the thin silver body. While being an older pen, it’s actually quite bright and solid with light wear as shown in photographs. Please check out photographs for more details. Also, pen tested silver and is also stamped sterling as well as stamped with CT for artist hallmark. Also note, I have included photographs of the actual cartridge. Please base condition on what you see in photographs. Also, please keep in mind while the pen ink flows now, no telling how old it is. It may not work after tomorrow.
