An 1861 copy of a “Freedom of London” certificate on parchment (39cm x 8cm) rolled to fit into a cylindrical Treen box (10.5cm x 3.2cm) labelled “Copy of Freedom City of London”. (The original of which was lodged in the London Guildhall in 1844). The face of the document has the printed crest of the City of London on the left hand side, covering 7cm, with the rest of the document pre-written in copperplate excepting for the details and date of the issuing, being handwritten in Pen and ink.
